Brandon Vogt is the host of a political talk show on News Radio KKOB, New Mexico’s premier news and talk station, and as Program Director for Cumulus Media, where he oversees programming strategy, talent development, and audience engagement across platforms. A lifelong Republican, Brandon’s on‑air work is grounded in conservative principles, personal experience, and a deep understanding of both public policy and everyday life in New Mexico. His show blends political analysis with local insight, agriculture, education, and culture—connecting statewide issues to the people they impact most.
Brandon lives in the East Mountains with his wife and their two children, who are active in youth sports and 4‑H. In addition to his broadcasting career, he owns and operates a cattle ranch in Stanley, New Mexico, giving him firsthand experience in agriculture, land stewardship, and the realities facing rural communities. He is an American FFA Degree holder and a proud member of the New Mexico Cattle Growers’ Association Brandon spent ten years as a high school educator, teaching AP U.S. History and Economics.
He also served as a high school speech and debate coach, sharpening the skills in communication, persuasion, and critical thinking that now define his on‑air presence. His commitment to education and youth development continues through volunteer work as a youth basketball and baseball coach. He holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism with minors in Political Science and U.S. History from Oklahoma State University. His background uniquely positions him at the intersection of media, education, politics, and agriculture, with strong organizational skills and a focus on new media, digital engagement, and audience growth.
An award‑winning broadcaster, Brandon has been honored three times by the New Mexico Broadcasters Association as Talk Show Host of the Year (2020, 2022, and 2024). These recognitions reflect both his professional excellence and his ability to build trust with listeners across the state.
